DO YOU NEED TO BE A TYPE A PERSONALITY TO RUN A SUCCESSFUL HOME BUSINESS ?

And what is a type A and B ⁉

Type A

The Type A personality generally lives at a higher stress level. This is driven by

  • They enjoy achievement of goals, with greater enjoyment in achieving of more difficult goals. They are thus constantly working hard to achieve these.
  • They find it difficult to stop, even when they have achieved goals.
  • They feel the pressure of time, constantly working flat out.
  • They are highly competitive and will, if necessary create competition.
  • They hate failure and will work hard to avoid it.
  • They are generally pretty fit and often well-educated (a result of their anxiety).

Type B

The Type B personality generally lives at a lower stress level and are typically:

  • They work steadily, enjoying achievements but not becoming stressed when they are not achieved.
  • When faced with competition, they do not mind losing and either enjoy the game or back down.
  • They may be creative and enjoy exploring ideas and concepts.
  • They are often reflective, thinking about the outer and inner worlds.

When I imagine an entrepreneur, I see a type A person who works constantly.

Fierce. – Disciplined. -Reviewed

I do not consider myself very disciplined, and I know without a doubt that I am not a Type A personality.

While I do not fit into the image of a typical entrepreneur, I can focus and discipline myself in some crucial areas that I believe will make or break anyone who works hard from home.

What I’m good at is setting goals for myself and following them. I can concentrate on those goals and not get distracted or diverted.  Im not saying this is easy !!

Based on personal experience, I would add some distractions, such as the temptation to do errands, frequent visits to the kitchen for “breaks,” and too much time spent online out of personal interest and to check out social media sites.

However 🙂

I am open to hiring or to people who help me stay focused on where I am going and help me get there if necessary, such as business coaches and virtual assistants.

Now, I can say that I am not disciplined because I do not work every day as I think I should.

Nevertheless, when it comes to making money from home, I can proudly say that I’ve been 6 years because:

  • I have self-controlled enough to work from home and not watch TV or clean all day.

  • I am disciplined enough to focus on sales, even if I do not want to.

  •  I am disciplined enough to continue with my marketing  that brings new potential customers.

DO YOU HAVE TO BE A SUPER DISCIPLINED TYPE A PERSON TO EARN MONEY AND RUN A BUSINESS?

No, but …

You must choose some important areas that will lead to your success and be disciplined and focused on achieving those particular things.

You do not need to have a type A personality to do this. You need to be able to focus and discipline YOURSELF in some key areas.

If you must choose, here are three non-negotiable areas to exercise self-discipline:

  1. USE A CALENDAR SYSTEM AND DO NOT DEVIATE FROM IT.

At first, it may seem that scheduling most of your day is losing the freedom you wanted when you started your business. And this does not mean you can not deviate from your schedule from time to time, like taking your sick child out of school or going to the ski slopes on a day of surprise with dust.

However, using a calendar system and holding on to it eventually gives your life more time and flexibility, as well as a disciplined approach when you’re working.

  1. BUILD IN A SPECIFIC TIME FOR SALES AND SPECIFIC TIME FOR MARKETING.

Remember, an entrepreneur must focus on selling. Generating sales conversations (marketing) and then selling them to these people.

When we deal, do not enjoy sales or marketing, or do not have a plan, this is a natural part of our business to postpone until tomorrow.

  1. RITUALS EARLY IN THE MORNING AND AT NIGHT.

Begin and end your day with intention. Whether to take the time to be grateful, have a cup of tea and a diary, do meditation and affirmations to solve problems, the first and last thing you do each day sets the course for much more than you imagine.

I recommend doing a ritual both for the closing of the morning and for the night and set your mind and space with intention.
