10 effective ways To Increase Your Facebook Engagement ??

Facebook has more than 1.45 billion active daily users.

As an entrepreneur, you have a fantastic opportunity to take advantage of it by sharing your story, building your business and having fun with friends and family, all in one place!

Your brand is represented in every post you make on Facebook or similar platform. So, how do you put your best to be authentic so that the world knows you or your business? How do you get involved in the largest social network in the world to attract ideal customers and build your business?

1. COMPLETE YOUR “ABOUT ME” SECTION

I lost count of how many times I went to Facebook to find an email or phone number of a “friend” and I had to search the web. Ugh (Yes, you can send a private message on Facebook, but many people never check that “non friend ” inbox!) TO COMPLETE IT.

Pretend that you are a potential client who visits your profile to get more information about you. Is your contact information complete ❓Do you have your current business listed ❓

2. CREATE FRIENDS LISTS AND USE THEM!

Stop the madness of waving the epic news every time you visit Facebook and focus on the people you really want to interact with. Create lists allows you to filter the transmission of Facebook. This advice will only save you HOURS of time each month.

Some suggested list names:

  •         Prospects
  •         Personal friends/Family
  •         Network Marketing
  •         Affiliate/Attraction Marketing
  •         Perspectives
  •         Colleagues
  •         Competition
  •         Influencers

3. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR TONE

Just make sure you’re not Pollyanna or Eeyore

Review your last 11 posts. What is the tone? Do they represent you? Are you publishing about unicorns and rainbows, or are you complaining about your hard life❓ Too much of any of them is not ideal. Ask yourself: would I like to work with the person represented here ❓Adjust, as necessary.

4. DO NOT JUST PREACH … BE VISUAL.

People want to be inspired to partner and work with you. The most efficient way to do this is to share your brand and personal history VISUALLY.

There are 3 elements to consider:

✅SHARE CORE VALUES

If the adventure is a central value, be sure to post photos of your trips or weekend walks. If the family is, post photos of the football game, ballet recitals, game night, etc.

✅SHARE YOUR PASSIONS

Posting photos of things you love will definitely attract ideal customers. You will become a magnet for those who share your passions, and you can infuse them into your business process! Passionate about wine? Your closing gifts become the wine that you mix during the annual evening of clients that you organize in your clients’ local winery. Get the idea?

✅SHARE YOUR PURPOSE

If your drive is to inspire greatness in others and share edifying quotes. If it is about teaching, share posts to educate others. Love connecting people ❓ Publish photos of you connecting friends in real life or post introductions in your timeline where others can see them.

5. COMMIT TO THE PURPOSE

Committing to a purpose and being memorable involves connecting and igniting emotion in others. Leave a little “hello” on a friend’s timeline or post an article or quote that reminds him/her. Get used to connect with more than three people per day. Start doing this for the people on your Prospecting list – or whatever you named your list (# 2) and then diversify!

6. CHECK YOUR “OTHER” MESSAGES

If someone is not your friend, you may want (or be forced) to send a direct message. The problem is that these usually end up in your OTHER inbox. Add a reminder to your calendar to check it periodically.

You will find interesting personal notes there as well. In those days, you need a good laugh or an impulse, appearing here is always a good option.

7. FOLLOW INFLUENCERS

Do you have someone you admire, but you’re not close enough to be “friends”? They can be local leaders, business owners, authors, etc. You can follow your public status, such as your business page, and add them to your “influencers” list. This allows you to stay updated and committed, without being directly connected.

8. CREATE A FACEBOOK GROUP

This is an incredible way to create community and business for yourself and others. My upcoming business group, is focused on women entrepreneurs and the brands that serve them, so I created a group for “powerful women”. There will be hundreds in this community that participate. They will encouraged to share their own blog posts, the things that inspire them or the topics that excite them. For a group to work, here are some great activities to infuse:

✅     Ask questions: I’m not sure what they want to talk about, ask them!
✅     Host and post events: If you are organizing a virtual webinar, Google Hangout, or a happy hour in person, you can use the group to gather support.
✅    Encourage presentations: ask everyone to share who they are, what they are passionate about,                     their business, etc. You can start conversations/connections by sharing the details of each member when they join each member when they join.

9. PROGRESSIVE POWER OF FACEBOOK’S COMMITMENT

Take advantage of progressive power.

Think about how you feel when you post an update and wait for the first LIKE. Think about how you feel when it happens. That is amplified when someone makes a COMMENT and brings joy when someone SHARES your posts. Then, do it for another person, every day.

10. MAKE YOUR MARK

Always add a little more to delight your world, make people feel special and leave a mark you will not easily forget!

Share an appointment ✅ Take your time and make a visual presentation with “your style”. Use an application like Instaquote to create something on the fly, or use Canva ( my favourite ) to create your own Facebook quote template. In other words, do not be boring. If you are going to publish something that represents no. 4, make it memorable.
