In this article, we will review a range of tactics that may be useful if the digestive tract has been inflamed, irritated or invaded by candida activity. Natural Cure of Candida #1: Caprylic Acid

A major component of coconut oil, caprylic acid is a fatty acid that can be taken as a tablet. If by chance you cannot get the tablets, you can take a tablespoon of coconut oil several times a day.

But if you’re still concerned about coconut oil in terms of its fat content, it does not have to be. It is a saturated fat, but most of its fats are medium chain triglycerides, which means that they are actually used by the body and burned as fuel, not stored as fat, like other fats.

This really makes coconut oil a great supplement for burning fat, but let’s not explore the physiology of that right now.

Simply understand that caprylic acid is a very powerful antifungal and antiemetic agent, which makes it a really useful Candida cure.

Garlic, in essence, has the same effect on Candida, as it is said to have on vampires: Garlic eradicate it!

Of course, garlic is a great ingredient for cooking, but it is also an antifungal, antimicrobial and very powerful antibacterial agent.

These amazing medicinal properties are due in large part to allicin, one of the active ingredients in garlic.

You can get more garlic simply by cooking with more. However, if you want the most powerful and packaged version with allicin, you must take it raw. This is where things get a little interesting.

To get as much allicin as possible from each capsule, crush the garlic on a cutting board and, if you are brave enough, swallow the whole pieces. That will go straight to your instinct and work its magic.

However, I’ll warn you: the after-burn and the after-breath are pretty strong.

If that is too strong for you, you can also take garlic supplements. They are not as potent as raw garlic, but they are still effective. Simply choose which delivery mechanism is best for you.

Oregano oil is a much more powerful version of oregano, which is an herb that we normally put in our pastas.

I recommend a mixture with 50 percent oregano and 50 percent olive oil. You can also go with a mixture that is a part of oregano to three parts of olive oil. The key is to go with what you can handle. Just like garlic, it is strong.

Whatever you choose, you can take oregano oil by simply placing a few drops under the tongue and letting it rest for a moment.

If that is a bit too intense for you, you can also buy empty vegetarian tapas, fill them with oregano oil and remove them with a sip of water.

Do this two or three times a day for a maximum period of two weeks. Take a couple of days off, then go back in.

Your body can get used to oregano oil to the point that its benefits no longer work for you, so you want to use it in cycles.

Some alternative medicine doctors consider that diet is a vital part of a Candida cleansing. According to some practitioners, the period of time in Candida cleansing depends on the nature of the symptoms and the health of a person.

In general, they recommend administering the diet for at least two weeks, but possibly a few months. When there is an improvement, the foods on the restricted list are typically incorporated back into the diet. Some lists of samples and guidelines that an alternative medicine professional might recommend to your client:

Limit the daily intake of carbohydrates: according to some practitioners of alternative medicine, sugar in the diet promotes the overgrowth of intestinal Candida, so they suggest to some that reduce the carbohydrate content of the diet.

During the first 2 to 3 weeks of the program, carbohydrate intake may be restricted to 20 to 60 grams per day, depending on age, health, activity level and the degree of sensitivity of the grain. As the symptoms disappear, the total carbohydrate increases gradually.

Foods that are low in carbohydrates include protein foods such as meat, chicken, turkey, seafood, some nuts, and non-starchy vegetables.

The following is one of my favorites: apple cider vinegar.

It is really simple to take. You can do the insane thing of filling a shot glass and taking it at once, or you can put one or two tablespoons in a glass of water and drink that a few times a day.

Actually, I encourage you to drink apple cider vinegar every time you drink water.

Natural Cure of Candida #6: Hydrogen Peroxide

The latest addition to our cure protocol for Candida is hydrogen peroxide.

However, I must issue a little warning with this: the ingestion of hydrogen peroxide requires some guidance, so see if you can find someone with knowledge at your local health food store (which is also where you will find it).

You should not ingest any old hydrogen peroxide; what you want to find is 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide. It is very different from what you use to clean cuts and scrapes.

What you are essentially doing is giving yourself a blow of super-oxygen when you take this.

Too much is not good, but the right amount is very effective to eradicate a large amount of this yeast and fungi that can grow inside your body.

Natural Cure of Candida #7: Acidophilus

According to some practitioners of alternative medicine, acidophilus bacteria can help control candida by making the intestinal tract more acidic, discouraging the growth of candida and producing hydrogen peroxide, which directly kills candida.

Although there is some research that suggests that the acidophilus hydrogen peroxide producing strain, DDS-1 can help reduce the incidence of yeast infections, more evidence is needed before recommending probiotics.

Using Natural Remedies

If you have the symptoms, be sure to consult your primary care provider instead of treating yourself or delaying standard care. Allowing symptoms to go untreated can have serious health consequences.
